Am I wrong here, or wouldn't a 3 inch group at 25 yards with a combat pistol be more than acceptable? Most Firearm Instructors I have dealt with think 5 inches is more than adequate. Since my Glock is delivering a three inch group, why would I spend $300.00 to "tighten it up"? You get more and more humorous, John. You really don't have a clue what most of us are talking about.

3in group @ 25 yds sounds excellent to me. Don't think that the CAR with the canned crap on the end will do better - even with bipod - in Melvin's hands.

3x better accuracy than anyone has ever proven that they can delier, while being shot at. I'd CHEEFULLY give up ALL ability to hit the chest beyond 10m, using a pistol, in order to be 1/4 second faster on the draw and hit inside 10ft. That's how little accuracy means, in realistic, justifiable civilian defensive shooting, and that's how important raw speed is, up close. The punk probably WILL hit you at the 6 ft and less ranges common to such attacks, regardless of how fast he fires, and regardless of what pos gun he has. ANY hit he gets is likely to bleed you out, kill you of infection,maim you, etc. he doesn't HAVE to get an instant stop in order to RUIN your life. YOU, however DO need an instant stop. He gets to start first, having his gun in hand, maybe already firing, befor you can legally draw YOUR gun. that's why you either have to be SUPER fast, or very lucky.

than i can get out of my [3x] tried to retire, sig/browning p220[shot the crap outta it] although, the price for NEW barrels are dropping!
