The fact that you simply don't like the particular gun that it's fired from does NOT magically mean that a softpoint or hollowpoint bullet running at nearly Mach2 is magically rendered incapable of expansion.

Roughly 16" of penetration, PLUS expansion to 0.62"; more than double the bullet's original size. And it's not just an S&B fluke. The Federal and Hornady averaged nearly .48" expansion, even after much greater penetration.
