Since I got on this suppressor 'kick' a while ago, I've considered having one (or both) of my M1 carbines' barrels turned & threaded for a .30 cal suppressor. Since I also own two .308's and a 7.62x39, a .308-oriented suppressor could serve on several guns, albeit being somewhat overkill on the .30 carbine.
Don't want to shorten the barrel, tho. At least not to the point where there'd be "SBR" issues.
