Magnum,

Pre-frag! .460 prefrag elephant load. Speaking of Jeff Cooper, he talked about how there was rave reviews over the .380 Gaser slug and now terrable the damage it did on just about anything they shot. He wrote, "why if that's so, let's load a .45 version and hunt elephants!"

He said this in jest, as unlike gunkid, he KNEW there is more to stopping power than just energy. Way way more than just how much energy any cartridge produces.

And gunkid, the CAR is a losers rifle. The Army in Vietnam found that out and they dropped it. I'll take a 9mm carbine over a 11 inch CAR any day. It's that much a POS.

460 Weatherby Mag? Yeah but you can't can it or stick it down your pants leg? You realize that it only has tactical value with the barrel whacked off at 11.5 in and a bipod tack welded on. Why it doesn't have a 460 Rowland conversion unit. The canned M21 Beeretta is far more useful for braining buffalo, elephants and other enemy combatants at face to face ranges.

Rats! I can't make up enough assinine stuff to blather about. Sigh. Pout.

Geez, RIKA, you went and outed me.

Yep, 460 Weatherby Magnum.

But unlike what Goonkid says about HIS 460, mine was quoted with factory ammo, through a factory barrel. I just couldn't lie about the 6-barrel, pocketable, "canned" 460 Gatling pistol. . .

Thus saith the man who wants to go to Africa and shoot elephants and Water Buffalo with a 223. Your sense of reality is severely distorted GK.

At least he read RIKA (on ignore) or my (on ignore) posts to see it's the rifle round I was talking about. GoonKid caught in another lie.
