9 out of 10 tries, using rocks in the slingshot. That's ALL the bigger the brain circle is on small game, andWITHOUT such a hit,you AINT taking them with a slingshot and rocks. , I guarantee it. All YOU have to bet is $500, (instead of betting your LIFE, as you will be doing post shtf)

It's just STUPID to be exposed to enemy fire, all the times you will HAVE to be, to take any small critters with slingshot.

Don't waste your time or energy on slingshot or practicing with such a toy. For the same wt, and LOTS less bulk, you can carry 50 more rds of .22lr, and that will SILENTLY feed you for many years, and do so a LOT easier, and have VERY serious combat-potential, unlike that joke of a slingshot.

The slingshot has NO potential (using rocks) of taking dogs, livestock, deer, men, or similar large critters, while the silenced .22 AR unit can easily do so at 50m,perhaps double that,in some cases.

Dont use .22 on anthing smaller than a small dog,

and dont use 223 for anything but FORCED combat, and 80 rds of 223, 200 rds of .22lr will last you for MANY years, during which you will have recovered SCORES of guns from the dead, along with many,many hundreds of rds of ammo for same, MOST of which will be .22lr, and a lot of which will be 223. So no need whatsoever to burden self with more ammo.

All you have to do is have enough sense to stick to either thick cover or darkness. NOT thick cover, AND darkness, dimwits. One OR the other. Either one suffices to keep effective ranges down to the capability of the 223, even if somebody DOES have night vision. Without the night vision, effective ranges are WELL within the lethal 150m range of the subsonic .22lr.

You are not as well protected by darkness as you think. Good binoculars or scope are sufficient to pick out a moving man in bright starlight or partial moonlight. All your enemy has to do is stay quiet and let you stumble into range. POW! You're dead meat.

hate to bust anyones bubble but when i was a kid i used a slins shot to hunt with .being to young to use a 22 it was all ihad ive killed animales as large as a smdeer with that old wrist rocket and steel balls. marbls were the best ammo. out to about 75 feet anything i could see icould kill. im no David but dont underestimate what good sling can do

4m is a joke, and you don't need to hit the brain to kill something with a slingshot. You have obviously never hunted with one, they are very lethal.

Actually its sort of a funny/sad picture... morbidly obese man wearing garbage bags carrying an AR pistol (scoped, canned and with a bipod no less) in an armored wheelbarrow thrashing and cursing around in the shrubbery, trying to free himself from some snare or other... muahaha.

ive taken more sm game with my wrist rocket,than i have with a 22.you are right on useing rocks no 2 will shoot the same 38 cal steel balls or marbels will shoot to the same impact point and the make no sound

One of Texas most famous poachers used a 22lr to take over 500 deer before he was caught. its all in the placement of the shot.rim fire for deer hunting is unlawful in Texas.It dose not matter what the cal it is..By The way the largest animal ive kill with the sling was cow that was hit by a car.1 steel ball to the head =d 1 dead cow
