(made and imported) You KNOW a lot of it gets stashed, and not shot. So WHERE'S it all supposed to GO, so suddenly after shtf, hmm? Fired at WHAT ,hmm? Within a year, either things will have BEEN calmed down by some political change, or they'll be calmed down cause 90-99% of the population is DEAD, so there'll be MANY thousands of rds for each survivor's .22. :) There wont be any game animals to shoot at, after a very few months of shtf, because the starving people, dogs, and cats will have eaten them all, and then the people will have eaten the dogs and cats, and then each other.

Oh, pulEEEze! Hundreds of thousands of .22 are bought right here in our county every winter for the spring/summer gopher shooting. The Lost Prairie area itself is the acknowledged largest concentration of the Columbian Ground Squirrel in the US. Even the government does its vermin testing here, and NObody is thinking about the "end of the US as we know it" dumbstuff.
Any idiots approaching our place after shtf  won't be facing .22 fire, YS. Not by a long shot.
