Gunkid the feds wanted prisoners. With a killer on the lose in a SHTF, they won't take any prisioners. If they locate your hideout, they will play very dirty. Burn you out, or blast you out, or poison places were you drink water, or boobytraps, etc.... You go killing their people and they won't read you your rights or call you up on the phone to surrender. No three hots and a cot. No prision food. I doubt if they will even waste time TRYING to catch you alive.
