Last night, my local sheriff was on TV discussing a wanted criminal. He escaped from prison in another county about ten days ago. The criminal gets his jollies breaking into people's homes and physically harming them. Yesterday, he was spotted sleeping in a home that he had illegally entered.

The local sheriff said that he believes the criminal is hiding out in patches of woods, sleeping by day and attacking at night.

In light of the bad guy's modus operandi, and its similarity to an oft discussed plan by a certain controversial person at this website, it seems an interesting experiment to see how long this guy will be able to evade capture, especially if he sets foot in my county.

You can learn more about this criminal here:

Our local sheriff is one of the finest LEO professionals that I have ever met. He is also an NRA life member and sponsor. At one time, he used to train tracking dogs.

Any bets on how long until the criminal is caught?

How about betting on whether the law finds him before he breaks into the wrong house and dies from an overdose of lead? :)

I'll wager $50 on lead poisoning.

andy, everybody has to sleep sometime. Rotating teams of deputies and bloodhounds ensures that fresh pursuers are always pressuring the lone escapee. It is the advantage of teamwork.

If the escapee travels by road, he chances that he will be spotted, either by police or an alert citizen. Even if he evades detection, the stolen car will be found, giving police fresh leads.

If the escapee breaks into the wrong house, the homeowner may bring an abrupt end to the escapee's good fortune.

There lies the dichotomy:

If the escapee presses on, he will begin to make mistakes. If he sleeps, he may wake up handcuffed...or not at all.

Hunted, the lone animal becomes easy prey.

And you did this when?

You surrendered how many times?

Sounds like you have little room to stand on, IQ or not.

Are you sure you have the decimal point in the right place?

Maybe you heard 160, but they really said "this one's a sixty".

Just covering all the possibilities.

And who would that be?

No one on this board. The only one who advocates an AR pistol with pre-WWII era suppressor technology SURRENDERED WITHOUT A FIGHT, when HE HAD GUNS, and SURRENDERED OVER THE PHONE when he didn't.

Perfect example of the fantasy mode. Especially the 160 IQ since people who have one that high don't brag about it but let it show in their accomplishments which andy has none of a positive nature. Course andy bragged about learning to write cursive on an Etch-a-Sketch. :dunce:

16.0 IQ. Suuuure. :D
