alice pack, even with frame aint waf. There zero padding on the hipbelt, just a bit on the frame where ib bounces on your tailbone and lower back. I can't believe that the military put up with it for 30+ years. No strap with which to lift it or to drag it as you crawl

Next time, I'll add 3 miles and another 10 lbs, but I'll have to use the big marine molle pack, which is 7 lbs all by itself, with the hipbelt that's got a pointless 4" too wide padding, and an inch too wide shoulder strap padding, most of it up on your chest, where all it does is drive up your retained body heat. The way too wide hip belt does the same thing They must have designed it for the millions of women who can lug around 80+ lbs and who are in the military. I'll be up to 50 lbs, but the better carrying features of the big pack will negate most of that. I got the solid rubber tires for the bicycle and laid in more salt. If this goes to the election, its' going to collapse the dollar and it might do so already by sept 1 and there's a chance it will have done so by 1 July. If it goes on til 1 june, it's going to be a Great Depression. Better plant a garden and buy some small gold coins.

For pity's sake Garand, that's an old fantasy, you have to pick up on the new drug dream. In this one he hauls a cast iron stove on his back in a Viet Nam era war surplus rucksack. I would love a picture of this but it probably would come out blank.
