if the load is feeble, the gun's a pos as a defensive choice. Doesn't matter what a bunch of ignoramuses think, that's the FACTS of the matter.

Which begs the question why you insist on cobbled up pieces of shit like a chopped up Star? Don't you get that you are describing your favorite POS gun in this post?

But andy, you are the one that shoe a Collie with a 357 and got the animal mad enough at you to come up on the driver's seat of the car after you. Remember? You bailed out the passenger's side of the car firing and still couldn't hit the dog.

A cool head and good shot placement is better every time.

Actually, a gun can do the following things:

1) fail to fire it's load
2) fail to stabilize the round it does fire
3) have a catasrophic failure when the round fires
4) fire accurately
5) fire inaccurately
6) fire and jam
7).....

so there's a lot a gun can do, and most are why it is a good idea to use a quality one - despite what an ignoramus might preach.
