The best rifle/pistol won't be worth much unless you can feed it. You can talk about .356 TSW split nose and .460 Rowlands, but they won't be worth a damn without ammunition. Say what you want, but I'll stick with .22LR, 9MM Parabellum, .45 ACP, .223, .30/06, and 9X18 ammunition for my my guns. Sure, I have different calibers, but I won't find the rounds in the local gun shop. A standard white box .223 or a .45 ACP will be just as effective as somebody's idea of a "Super Round". If money constraint's are tight, the SKS's are still very inexpensive, and the the Yugoslavian Mausers are to be had for less than the price of a push lawn mower. Ammunition for both are dirt cheap, too.
