Yea, got 1 that could have been worse!
Trapped in a grocery line with one of my CCW's in a "Pager Pal" holster Strong side IWB... Directly in the path of a runaway little 3yr old who was making a deadon run for me with a fiendish look of glee and both little arms clasped together and cocked over his head... too young to be more than marginally socially responsable, but old enough to know it was entertaining to slam an adult male square in the stones:hot: The little menace had broken loose from Momma, and was on a full-tilt collision course for my crotch!:smash:! I was just fast enough to swerve, and his hard little fists whacked right into my .40S&W! HARD!
The brat let out a screech like a turpentined cat and ran howling to Mamma... I got a good look at Mamma's look of horror that her little fiend was wounded and had the presence of mind to double over clutching my Pager Pal and groaning "I Think I'ts BROKEN! :dgrin: Momma and her little Darlin' were GONE! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I haven't had any *really* embarrassing moments but since I carry a P7M8 in an OWB holster, I have had it make a loud *clunk* when sitting down on those metal folding chairs and once on a wooden booth in a quiet restaurant. A muttering of "damn cell phone" usually placates the sheeple.

A few years back there was a call of an armed subject in a local fast food restaurant in a neighboring city.
When the police arrived they found a fellow officer who was off duty and, after seeing no armed subject, asked him if where the armed subject was.
This was news to him and as they stood there in confusion a description of the armed subject, matching that of the off duty officer, came over the radio.
Turns out the off duty officer was the armed subject.
Seems he was standing in line waiting to order his meal, wearing swim trunks and a t-shirt, when another customer noticed his drawers were sagging under the weight of his pistol stuffed rear of his elastic waistband.
Not wanting to leave it in his vehicle while he went inside, he had stuffed it there when he arrived.
The line cleared from behind him quickly but, used to seeing him there on duty, the staff was not alarmed at all (I guess until all the other officers started pouring in).
Guess he knows now why the line cleared out so quickly now.
