Anyone made an AR from an 80% finished

lower? Finishing one takes access to a drill press, $100 worth of drill guide blocks (readily sold for $70 after you are done) some fairly low cost drill bits, and then access to a lathe, with a fairly simple to make jig that holds it while you finish-bore and thread the "tower" that holds the buttstock onto the lower. About 2 hour's work, once you have that jig, but making the lathe jig will take an hour or more.

By the time you anodize it and cost you time your up to the price of a stripped lower so what's the point?:rolleyes:

With any luck gunkid will get caught with an 81% finished lower.
