Too bad rifled barrels are verboten for the Turks...I was thinking a dedicated ,rifled slug barrel upper would be useful...or at least a bigger guage smoothie.You think it can compete with the 12 Gauge Saiga for reliability???

One drawback I see is that it is limited to 2 1/2" shell length. That eliminates the full brass stuff. I have a Win .410 lever action with the same restriction.

But I've made shotshells for my 45-70 & .444 lever guns and had some pretty good results.

Slugs and/or those 3-round buckshot shells would probably do the job quite nicely. Agreed though, it's certainly not a 12 Ga, and definitly a novelty, especially since .410 shells are MORE expensive some places than 12 Ga.
