draw an SA revolver, cock it, and have it fully outthrust at hip ht, LONG before the coin hit the deck. By age 26, I could do the same with a 1911, but have it in the Weaver before the coin could hit. It takes about .55 second for the coin to fall from waist height. Add .20 second reaction time, you get .75 second or faster to react, draw to Weaver and fire. Such an eye level point shot can be relied upon to hit the 10" circle of the A zone, at 10 ft. Further if the shottist is allowed to CHEAT, and get his body all nicely "aligned" with the target prior to the signal being given to draw and fire.
