at any range u can reliably hit chest
of critter with sub 1000 fps handgun, I can BRAIN the critter with scoped AR-15 223, count on it, and do so FASTER than you can get your hit with the pistol. The brained critter wlll drop like a rock, and the one you lung hit will run for 10-20 seconds. At dusk, or in nasty terrain, 20 seconds can easily mean a lost animal.
