Barrett's vs. Armalite AR-50

I have three Barretts. I would not trade any one of them for five Armalites. The Barretts just speak "quality". They work well and look good.

Plus I really like Barrett as a company. They are just good people.

If I could get one of those XM109s from them I would be saving my pennies right now to buy one.

For bolt .50's, nothing touches a McMillan. But between the two, I'd go with Barrett.

no purpose to any .50 except costing BB 200 Bill

w 2 shots, and require a suppressor and double bipod, compactness and take-down-portability to get clear of the area. So of course the AR-upper gets the nod.

Barrett, because of quality (hearsay, I've never fired a .50BMG) and simply because I would give them the buisness. Refusing to sell or service the LAPD after they used a Barrett rifle as a scare-tool showed the kind of principle that I really respect.
