Doing something very different on the musical targets yesterday; Beethoven’s “ode to joy“. Because of the length of the song and the natural break points in the music, it took four magazines to do it; using 15 to 17 rounds per magazine. Could have done it with just one magazine change in the middle using the two 50-round drums, but the drums are slow and awkward to reload, plus very expensive so I’m not just going to let them drop on the ground the way I will a regular magazine.

Maybe when I move I'll be in a position to get something like that.

It’s more fun than it probably should be, although it does make me go through more 22lr than I otherwise would. One of the smarter things I’ve done with it was buying a cheap ebay xylophone for learning songs on. I wasted way too much ammo practicing the first song I learned, learning it directly on the targets.
