but for matches, hunting,battery would'

not include ANY belt guns. As it is, no real use for full size and wt pcs, just alloy compacts. They handle a lot more like the pocket guns. Only the pocket guns are likely to BE there, when needed.

Just let me clarify... Are you saying that apart from hunting and competition shooting, there's no need for belt guns?

I assume I'm misinterpreting that, as even the alloy Commander you often recommend isn't a "pocket gun". Doesn't that then make it a "belt gun"..?

Regarding the "pocket guns are a lot more likely to BE there", I agree with that.

I can agree on the idea of pocket guns being on you more.

But WSHTF I'm going to be packing a belt gun in addition to a pocket gun.

However there are some compact guns, can't really call them pocket ones, that are very accurate. The Glock 36 that I just bought for example has been as accurate at 25yds as most full sized .45's I've owned.
