too. While you are jacking off, setting up a 1/2 mile shot, somebody you never SAW will kill you, from 300m. No you AINT got a spotter for shtf, and no you WON'T have all day, every day, to do nothing but look around, and no, most people aren't as stupid as you. When dangerous men "come calling' it will be at night, and no you CAN'T look around with NVD'S, the way you can in daylight, either. They "tunnel vision" your eyes, and they fatique you. You can't just "scan" and pick up movement or flash, etc, at half a mile or more, like you can with your eyes, in daylight. So only IDIOTS claim that "night vision" takes away the advantage of darkness.

Depending on the brightness of the sky, a good pair of binoculars can be used in place of night vision. Much easier on the eyes too. Your many assumptions about moving at night are based on fantasy/wishful thinking rather than the reality of actually having done it. Try it. Go out at night under a half bright moon and try moving through the woods. You will be lucky if you come out with a skinned knee or a twisted ankle.

Since most people know how to playh well with others, a sharpshooter most certainly WILL have a spotter. Given limited manpower, due to less people and more work being required just to live than right now, it'd be more effective to patrol with, say, 6 2-man teams (who most likely can cover each other) than 2 6-man teams. They can do a lot of damage to some ne'er do good trying to sneak in, as well as bring in other nastier suprises.

Again, there is the assumption that everyone will be traveling alone.

Trust me Tard, no one will see me at 300 yards. You know absolutely nothing about concealment and cover. Do you think I'm going to be sitting out in the open making lots of large movements to attract attention? Please. Get real.

Mike, he's living the fantasy! Everyone will be walking like zombies across the bald a*s prairie, so gunkid can shoot them to steal their kit. Its almost as funny as people not being able to hit anything past 300 yds unless they have an 11" CAR!

Gamegetter makes a thermal pointer that you can set for the tempiture of a human. Uses 9v batteries. Stupe like gunkid will 'think' it's all safe to move at night then get potted cause he can't see at night, gets lost, falls down. Yes, a good high quality 7x50 will see well at night. Between those two and HEARING stupekid making noise, he will be EASY to take.

Who won't have a spotter?

I know one thing for certain, anyone who hits me from 300 meters that I didn't see first won't be using an 11.5" abortion of a gun.

Folks are as stupid as you depend on them being. The people that are set up and attentive will be aware of you long before you feel the hit and hear the shot. (in that order).

the people who are set up and watching have a whole bunch of advantages over you. they can scan without making noise, they can have already familarized themselves with the surrounding countryside. They can have range cards worked out for all those bits of cover you will be using.

if they are prepared, you will be dead without ever knowing who or where they are.

I just realized, you are so right GunKid. NVDs don't take away any advange of the darkness using person. I have NO IDEA of what the military is thinking, or why most armies are scared to death of the US when darkness comes around.

I guess we don't own the night because of night and thermal vision.

Somebody call the pentagon and let them know that they are idiots.

usiing such, and getting a HIT at night

are NOT one and the same thing, dummy. battery powered bs, and your stupid DEPENDENCE on such, says it all.
Yet people use NVDs all the time to make shots at night...

why not fill us in with all the night battles and FTXs you’ve been in...

or is this just something else you’ve only thought about?
