At $3 each, when gold was $30 an oz, the Liberator today would cost 13x as much to make, and if bought in bulk, that's about all the HP22 would cost the gov't. The can and the rapidfire, and the ability to hide 100 or more rds of 22 on the PERSON, REAL accuracy, etc, would make it EASILY 10x more likely to actually be USED.

From a "sniper" type set up, the canned HP22 could easily get a hit SOMEWHERE on the man, at 50m, and if it's to the torso, it''s REALLY likely to kill him, unless LOTS of thousands of $ are spent on his med care. That beats making a lot of noise with the .45 single shot, dropped by the thousands in WW2, eh? To use THAT effectively, you had to have balls enough to walk right UP to the enemy, fire from less than 10 ft away, and then be able to GET AWAY after all that noise attracted all of his buddies. Probably NOBODY ever dared.

What "Resistance" are you gibbering about, and why would we offer them weapons?. They didn't trust the food we dropped over Afghanistan 2yrs ago, and I don't think they have gotten any fonder of us since then. The only resistance I know of is the "Square-Beards" in Fallujah, and the other "Moon-Worshipers" who listen to them.

I kid you not, he has bragged about floating down the mississippi, killing and plundering along the way for supplies, and then offering his services to the highest bidding warlord in new Orleans.

I think he figures that by heading up the resistance, it will look good on his resume and up the amount he can expect to get paid by them.

I know of John's prison record, but this is the first I've heard of his "Melvin does the Mississippi" routine. Please share this "Huck Finn" story.

Basically, it all boiled down to him building a "stealth raft" (beats me, it would be low in the water, and black, possibly even disguised as a log).

Using this stealh raft, he would float down the mississippi at night, hiding on the shoreline under his stealth raft during the day.

By staying to the middle of the river, no one would be able to shoot him. (don't try to argue the logic).

As he floated down the river, if he needed any supplies, he would kill people using the suppressed .223 shorty car (sometimes with the .22 unit and sometimes without it). Since the silent shots would come from the water, no one would be able to figure it out.

he'd paddle to shore, take the stuff and vanish on the river.

Eventually, he'd make it down to New Orleans, where he would offer his services to the warlord that offered him the most pay. (I seem to recall he figured on gett a couple of slave girls or concubines out of the deal as well, but I may be mistaken there.)

After all, there aren't ANY assassins as skilled as he is.

Who are the "Resistance" we should be dropping Phoenix Arms pistols too? A sniper armed with a real, cheap, flimsy pistol is going to take someone out at 50 yards? He'd have trouble at fifty feet. My nephew has one of these "Wonder Weapons". He thinks it's junk, too. We shoot it when we want some good laughs. The safety, hammer and trigger are cheap plastic, not even polymer. The sights are worthless and accuracy is, oh, about 40 MOA. And who is the "Dumb Bitch" you are referring to? Put some sense in your posts.
