Mrostov recommended the Cavalry Arms A-1 butstock on another thread, and I went to their website to check them out. While poking around their website I came across their Mk-II injection molded lowers .

These look really interesting. Does anyone know anything about them?

I've seen a lot of guys that them. They shave about 1/2 pound off of the weight of your weapon and they are reportedly rather tough. The plastic is supposed to be the same material Glock frames are made out of.

Myself, I prefer the aluminum. It's milspec and more versatile. I can also change it more to suit my tastes.

One of my biggest complaints is that they charge enough for their plastic lowers that you really don't save much, if anything, over a metal lower. Injection moulded plastic, once set up for manufacture, is NOT that expensive to produce. Those lowers should be $40 to $50 stripped, not $100 to $130.
