I'm referring to what appears under a poster's name as the title. Mine says junior member, I've noticed others have nice witty titles. Is there a way to change this yourself?

Click on the "user cp" button nest to the "Forum Map" button at the top of the screen. From there, click on the "Edit Profile" option. Go down to "Custom User Title." Type in the box what you want your title to be, then check the box next to "Reset?". Then hit submit modifications, and there you have it.

You cannot change your user title until you have become a seasoned member. That means posting a minimum of 30 messages and being a junior member for at least 30 days. (I believe that is what I have it set for!)

So that's why you don't see that option displayed in your control panel.
