It makes NO difference whether a bullet comes out of a rifle barrel or a pistol barrel, if the impact speed and bullet wt are the SAME. If the pistol bullet has 2-4x the frontal area of the rifle bullet, that AINT a point in favor of the RIFLE bullet's being the better manstopper, either.
