with "stoppers" vs "piercers", and CLAIM to be "gun men". I've read and heard MANY mentions of this practice, for nearly 40 years. It's a good idea, actually, since very few loads are BOTH good penetrators AND good stoppers. In fact, the only one that I ever heard of that IS good at both jobs is the 460 Split Nose.

Old concept but for most civilian defensive ccw uses it's impractical and can even be detrimental. For instance, if I use a pistol in my house I WANT the bullet to be stopped by a wall.

It is not old news! Gumclod just read it today in his 1982 copy of Goons magazine so its new and fresh and hot off the press. His feelings will be hurt if we don't ooh and aah over this revelation.

Who cares how a clown loads his pistol?. When I load mine it is with factory HP ammo, and I do not worry about someone wearing body armor, because homie dont play that, and down here in GA its to hot to hide that fact 6mos out of the year, and I am not going to be in a shoot out with LEO. I am more concerned with over penetratio than not enough, as I will not be starting a fight with armored men or equipment. If I needed penetration I would reach for a rifle, or E&E to a better place. No rules, no worries. If I can't penetrate their armor I am outta here.
P.S. I don't "claim" ot be a gun man, but my unit's have always used me as a small arms instructor, and I have gotten many people over the flinch factor without a can, or sub caliber unic to lower effectivness, and noise.

Actually Dutch-loading was discussed, by US (IIRC RIKA started the topic), without YOU, while you were off having a tantrum at PN.

I choose good factory hollowpoints, like the Gold DOt (supplanting my stocks of Hydra-Shoks), which both expand and the 230-gr .45 ACP, 240-gr .44 Magnum, and 158-gr .357 loads ALL expand at handgun velocities, will all completely penetrate a man (GoonKid should like that) and hold together through barrier penetration. Quite lethal rounds, and far ahead of the POS split nose that doesn't exist.
