pc, especially if it's "chopped" to Detonics length. It's then every BIT as "hard to handle" as is a full size and wt 9mm. So why spend 12c a shot, when you can spend 2c a shot? The gun might cost you $1200, in Detonics length, but it's paid for in 4000 rds, because you can ALWAYS sell such a "fully loaded" .22 for $800, and you can probably get $900 for it without looking or waiting very much. 4000 rds is just a few weekends of .22 use, actually.

I like the 22 conversion for the 1911 but Detonics length is silly. The conversion for the Colt Commander is much better and cheaper.
