But getting locked into one type of game is not.
When you're a "ONE TRICK PONY" with your shooting activities everything else is degraded. Which is why I shoot several "three gun" disciplines.
I have found that Cowboy Action Shooting actually contributed to other shooting disciplines. Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette shooting, contributed to my long range rifle shooting skills.
