do you CARE if a guy flops around for 20 seconds or so out there, before he bleeds out (223 hit), hmm? He can't hit you from there, after taking such a chest hit. Unless you are stupid enough to run right out there, he's no longer any concern to you. The wt and bulk and NOISE of 308, lack of .22lr conversion, will ALWAYS be a concern., You lug it and you lug it, and the extra fatique makes you more prone to error, illness, injury.

Depends on who the guy is...

If he has friends with serious hardware and he has a radio, I don't want him calling in any kind of support.

Practice accuracy Tard. The fast spray and pray won't work in the real world.

If his trigger finger still works, he/she is still a threat to your life. Its that simple gunkid! The difference in 3 or 4 pounds in weight is not going to be significant enough to effect your survival. Your lack of knowledge will kill you though.

Gunkid has no response.

He can't understand that a trained man, or an untrained one who has some fight and knowledge in him, won't flop around and scream like they do in the movies. They'll at least send some rounds back his way while they can (incidentally this is why I think the "wounding a man takes two out of the fight" is BS. #1 because the wounded man can still shoot, and #2 it's only first-world western countries that worry about their wounded, everyone else just lets them fight as long as they can, then after the battle, pull a gunkid and put a bullet in their head and issue their kit to the next "volunteer".)

For all his bleating and pissing himself about how skilled he is, he's deathly afraid of even the lowest grade of infantryman, who is more skilled and disciplined than he is.
