In the lower 48. The fence makes fine traps, and nets, the wire makes good snares. So, no, you DON'T have to haul much stuff around, in order to be able to make stuff. Nearly many hundreds of yds of monofilament fishline or dental floss is quite stowable in the pack. If you had any ability or sense, you'd KNOW this.

The woven fence wire works well if you can make a box trap. The electric wire is much too stiff to make a good snare though - thin flexible cable works much better. The mono and dental floss is okay in an emergency for squirrels and rabbits but doesn't work well for anything much larger.

Would you like to discuss trapping and snareing with me, GK? We can see who actually knows more.
