AR guy WAITS for the enfield guy to fire, gets 6-7 hits before Enfield guy gets second hit. :) couldn't quite tell if 7th shot beat the 303 or not. So, bolt action is 6x slower for repeat hits than is a good autoloader. Bolt action is a CRAZY handicap in a rifle fight.

Apples and oranges. Your spurious test is set up for the AR to win. We could set up the test between a 10-22 with a 30rd mag and the AR and the 10-22 would get more hits.

no it wouldn't,especially if YOU were

shooting the 10-22. Besides, I'm comparing POWERFUL rifle rds. If the bolt action had been 223, it would have been no faster. It's easy to recover from the recoil faster than you can cycle the bolt. Just look at how fast the samething can be done with a 308 auto. Not as fast as the AR, but 4x as fast as the Enfield, and the Enfield is supposedly the "fastest" of the bolt actions. Ha. ALL of them are so slow that they are a joke.

Thats sort of true JD

However, simply jerking the trigger fast isn't the same as making hits.

Of course at pistol ranges this isn't as big a deal, but at the ranges a rifle comes into it's own it starts making a big difference.

I host man-on-man matches that have proven time and again good bolt gun can get the job done just as fast as auto, the catch is the level of experience of the rifleman.

you're full of it. Inside 200m, the bolt

HAS no chance of beating a good AR for the second hit, and 200m covers well over 95% of the NON ACCIDENTAL hits in combat. Almost no bolt user even works at real speed for the first shot, and MISSES in combat are the RULE, rather than the exception. 905 of combat hitting is done inside 100 yds, and well over half of it is done inside 50m and a LOT of it is done inside 25m. Against autorifles, the pistol is outclassed at a mere 10m, when it's for blood, and no ear protection is available.

My Enfield will work at -40F, your AR won't! A point to ponder.

GK, some guy hits you with a single round from a .303 SMLE in any place but your pinky finger and you'll be flopping like a fish on the deck.

BTW, at 25m you can easily use a pistol.

The AR isn't a bad gunfighting weapon under the right conditions, but your odds of getting blown away by a bolt action is pretty high when it's in skilled hands.

If your target is a pop-up head and sholder that randomly pops up at different ranges and times (very much like reality instead of still targets Gunkid babbles about) then the Enfield will do JUST as good as the AR.

Attackers don't sit there and let you dump 30 shots at them. That's stupid thinking. Your targets will be moving and only partaly exposed. The smart bolt gun operator, or 7.62 battle rifle man, will know this.

What kind of advice do you expect from a REMF Korea dog handler that was REJECTED by the Army to serve in Vietnam (when they were DESPIRATE for people to go to Nam.) This idiot, Gunkid, has no clue and never did. Having shot himself in the foot, uses scalding water to 'steralize' it, couldn't find his way out of a swamp, and just tons of stupid moves and ideas, then you see his test are just stupid straw man test.

If the bolt action hits with the first round, the AR guy is pretty well f'd.

This test proves nothing, except that it's stupid to underestimate a skilled rifleman.

Obviously gunkid hopes that everyone is as pathetic a marksman as he is! Must be a b*tch not owning a firearm the rest of your life, so I guess you do have to live in a fantasy world.
