MISS too much. Ditto double stack mags in handguns. ferchrissakes, how can you use 30 rds of 223, worth a hoot, and STILL have enemies (trying to kill you, not fleeing? That would mean you either missed with most of your shots, or you let 30+ (rifle-armed)enemies sneak up on you. Cause if you HIT 50%, of any group, the rest run, without exception. Hitting 16, at waco, out of 80 made them flee. :) On national tv, with rifle armor and full auto M16's, yet. 4 dead, 12 wounded, and they RAN. One decent rifleman could have done that, by himself, with a silencer, subsonic ammo, and knowledge.

Platt, a know-nothing, with ONE arm, took on EIGHT Feds, killed 2, wounded 5. He got at least 10 hits with a 20 rd mag and Mini-14, several shots fired into the 2 dead men, when he had a bullet thru one lung and had lost the use of his arm. His cut brachial artery was PAINTING the side of his car (used as cover) with his life blood and he still, with one arm, was that effective.

If both he and Matix had had AK's, with steel cored ammo, body armor, suppressors, smoke grenades, a van "armored' with gravel, a couple of motorcycles, some pipe bombs, they'd have killed all the Feds and gotten away unscathed. ESPECIALLY if they'd known to stop the car and settle the Fed's hash when they FIRST noticed them, instead of trying to flee. All fleeing does, if you let a cop follow you, is bring more and more cops into the mix. You have to stop the first ones from getting on the radio,a nd you have to get into different vehicles, preferably off road bikes. You have to have makeup (ie, kinky wig, skin-paint) available and a change of clothing. and you have to know to hit gold coin stores, not banks. :)

Melvin do you have some sort of fantasy that you want to die in a hail of bullets like these two did? Well do you? If so better get your facts straight, Matix was a meathead (MP) in the military, just like you. Since you admitted years ago that the army didn't teach you anything you would go down just like him. Matix only got off 1 rd. "Platt was no a know nothing", unlike you he was an Army Ranger at one time. He was credited with getting at least 42 rds down range before 12 hits killed him. Do you research, you might actually get something right one day.

Man, does he ever fantasize about those two dirtballs! He mentions them in glowing terms all the time. He definitely wants to be like them.

You are wrong again. Mag changes are essential. What if you have a malfunction? What if you encounter a larger force? Do you have any idea of how much ammo may be required to break contact?

only a fool discounts skills that could save their life. Mag changes should be automatic and fast.

you also don’t know much about tactics or combat. you look at an event and draw incorrect conclusions as to why things unfolded the way they did. But that’s ok.

Melvin has this facination with missing, that speaks volumes regarding his marksmanship ability. Most of us have speant decades practising mag changes while were were in uniform and since in competition.

Again, another very old post that popped up.

fast mag swaps mean nothing, unless u MISS too much...
But YOU are the one who has specifically said that "you absolutely can miss fast enough to win".

Which is it?
