Picked up a nearly new looking one at the pawn shop across from work on my lunch hour. For nearly half of the dicount price for it online.

I'm happy as it's close to the same dimensions as the old Collins axe I saved from the grave. Only thing around here that won't be happy are the scrub cedars and other annoying underbrush trying to encrouch on the field of fire around the house.

Man is thing cute in a fugly utilitarian sort of way.

I know Glock makes an E-Tool but if they made an axe I bet it would look something like this.

Though I'm kinda leary of the handle on these things this one was gotten cheap enough to be a crash test dummy.

As if it ever breaks it can't really be replaced. Not gonna really abuse it just give it a good work out this Fall.

Did a short test of it cutting some limbs off a cedar tree by my driveway.

Worked pretty good and sliced into the wood deeper than the heavier old Collins Axe I normaly use for chores like this. I think the near hollow ground profile of this new axe helped somewhat in that regard.
