I go to flea markets occasionally but find much of the stuff there to be very much overpriced. Occasionally there is a good deal but not often. Much prefer garage sales where people just want to get rid of stuff. Real deals there.

two good flea markets are lucasville ohio and reinersville ohio. lucasville has everything from guns to flying squirrels and everything in between. so does reinersville but on a smaller scale. there is a good flea market south of pittsburgh pa called trader jacks. like a big yard sale. for gunshows louisville ky is big but getting expensive to get in and packed. we went to shipshewanna(sp) in. years ago. a lot of amish there. another big flea market we went to was metrolina in charlotte n.c. i hear there is a big flea market in south carolina. we tried the worlds longest flea market but it was crowded and no place to park.

i think they buy shotguns. i was talking to a fellow who was selling guns (private sales) and he claimed an amish fellow bought a shotgun in the fall and tried to return it the next spring. those people are hard to figure out.

Flea markets used to be a good place to go, but I agree with everyone who has posted about garage sales. The only draw back about a garage sale is you have to go all over the place to hit a decent number of them.
