Maybe somebody can tell me about how you go about converting a simi auto rifle to a full auto. In shotgun news you can buy a full auto sear for the g 3's( and others). How do you go about getting the class 2 license that the ad talks about? And I thought full auto was class 3? Are these kits legal for conversion or are they just parts kits for reg full auto guns? And I'm not talking about the mechanics of the conversion just the paper work and legal crap.

Why would you have to spend thousands of dollars on a decent gun? Why wouldn't any good quality simi auto gun fit the bill? I'm not talking about buying a full auto gun, just converting. And yes I know about the $200 tax and the sheriff crap, I just want to find out about the conversion laws.
