Garand,

Can you suggest a couple of really good Canadian beers? Something rich and full bodied with lots of great taste.

Thank you

RIKA :)

I'm not Garand, but I like the following:

OV (old vienna)
Labatts Blue
Moosehead
Grandville Island Lager

There are a couple others, but I'm having a mental block.

What's funny, is when I visit my brothers in law in Winnipeg, they are usually drinking corona's!

Canadian Beer

Molson, now in the process of merging with Coors, is another pretty good brand, I'm told.

My favorite is Kokenee, goes down very smooth! It may be a bit too much on the light side though.
I like it. I first tried it about a year or so ago in Winnipeg. It was on the beer cart while I was golfing with my brother-in-law.

Not bad, smooth, light.

I'm partial to Labatt's Blue myself. Moosehead was the swamp swill I was forced to drink during basic training. At 18, I didn't know any better. Maybe thats made me such a tough infanteer when I was younger? If you can keep it down, you really are tough!
