Get A Grip! Rifles

What does everyone like to use for a grip on their nasty old assualt rifles?

Factory standard, modified factory grips, home made grips or after-market ones?

For my M-4 sporters I'm thinking of going back to the Falcon Ergo-grip like I had on my AR-15A2 or maybe the standard type with the trap door.

Here's a link to their AR grips that I've been looking over recently:

Well for some reason it won't link to the specific page the above is to their homepage.

Todd!

just wondering, any 'laws' still in effect, concerning cutting /opening up thumbhole stocks on certain rifles NOW!

just wondering, mind you!

thanks.
The AR grips are an aftermarket no-name with a closable trap door in the bottom. Nothing special.

No, as long as it's not an import and under the 922r law which is still in effect.

But if it is and you do the US made parts count quota you're good to go.
I replaced the stock grips on my .50BMG rifles with this puppy: Sierra Precision SPR Grip. Really like the way it fits my hand and gives more meat of my palm some purchase to push against.

Come to think of it, I believe I have also replaced the grips on my more target grade AR style rifles with this grip as well. I have an AR-10 in .243 that is a real tack driver that I felt this grip would go well with.

I like the Aussie wooden furniture on the L1A1s.
The Colt has it's factory furniture, as do the AK and the milsurps.
My Armalite M15A2(LE) has the same grip that it was manufactured with.
