I just applied for the upcoming cull of the herd at the GC. They will select 12 volunteers to thin the herd and remove the carcasses.

There are fitness and marksmanship requirements, along with a background check. If one of the 12 ultimately chosen, you will be expected to kill and remove a number of carcasses, on foot.

They may award you with a Buffalo at the end. This doesn’t count against bonus points or lifetime limits. In AZ, you’re allowed one in your lifetime.

The marksmanship requirements are pretty simple 4 out of 5 shots in a 4” square at 100 yds.

If I’m selected, I’ll probably use my .338wm

You mean you wouldn't use a 10" canned AR with a 22 conversion!
doesn't meet their requirements and isn't legal for Buffalo. If I don't put all 5 shots in the square, I will be very embarrassed.
