Grennell got 165gr .45 jhp to 1400 fps, 5"

1911, over 30 years ago, using 10.0 grs of Unique,in a regular old 1911. You guys are WAY behind the curve. :) With modern powders,fully supported barrels, heavier springs, longer, MUCH stronger case of 460 Rowland, getting same bullet to 1550 fps is nothingmuch.
