You admit that the criminal justice system is broken and offers an easy out for many felons. Beat the case or just serve a little time, right? Your same words strengthen the argument that many have for the death penalty - especially for second or third offenders. I for one am tired of paying for felon's food and shelter when they just get out and go back to a life of crime.
