shot as a kid. That little pos KICKED with 3" shells. NO choke, wouldn't reliably bring a starling down from a tree at 20 yds with 3" shells, 50 ft with 2.5" shells. My single shot .22 Savage pistol, m101 had a LOT more reach, so I sold the 410.

not a chance. It happened repeatedly, and I saw branches, leaves, etc being hit all around the bird. The pattern was just too scattered. Shot it at the barn a couple of times, same range, LOTS of bird sized holes in the pattern. 18" barrel, no choke, cheapie FI Int'l Bronco shotgun.
