ability (so they can MAYBE "buy" enough time to bring their pistol into play?) A few hundred (who also ccw) at MOST, in the entire US. There didn't use to be hardly ANY. The 2 fields of combat were considered to be mutually exclusive. The karate guys didn't want to consider coming up against a gun. The gun people didnt want to consider not getting their gun "out" in time, or the hits not sufficing to stop an attacker.
