How many smithed Raven .25 autos U ever held stupekid? About the same number as M21s, right? A pos + 1000 hours + 2000 dollars still = a pos.

stupid, aint ya?:) I've had several such

M21's, did the work myself. No, dummy, the .25 is NOT 2c a shot, dummy. Nor is it offered with a threaded barrel, nor does it have any accuracy, nor does it fire THE most "findable" caliber.

notice stupekid does not have any M21s now. Stupekid can't smith them, can't touch them, can't own them. Stupekid is so stupid to even think of such a pos piece.

Much less shot, much less owned, much less hunted with, much less had a can mounted on, hmm? :)
"Smithed" - none. Fully functional M21 from the factory, one. Sometimes with a can, sometimes without. For over 30 years now.

No matter how much you "smith" one, it's still a joke power-wise. You've said so yourself:
...a 2.5" barreled .22lr has just 65 ft lbs, barely lethal, highly likely to fail you if you actually have to fire, and such a toy-like appearance that somebody MIGHT try you, thinking that it IS a toy. there's no reason to settle for such a feeble gun...
But for whatever reason, you don't like to admit it anymore. Some days you "ooh and aah" over the little popgun's capability (to the point of saying that they'd be worth thousands of dollars to oil sheiks), and then other years you "pooh-pooh" it as feeble and toy-like. Guess what - "smithed" or not, canned or not, ballistically it is undeniably feeble compared to more modern, similar-sized pocket guns.

Has anyone online ever done a test of it and/or other mouse guns at say 3ft vs muzzle to body contact to see if the expanding gas from the muzzle would do at least the same or a greater amount of damage as the bullet at those low velocities? As in blowing into the wound channel right behind the bullet.

I've always considered the 21A just by it's design either an "Ear, Nose and Throat" gun or a "Get The "F" Off Me" gun and a Backup to a Backup.
It's not a Forage Gun nor some Post Apocalypse Wet Dream Assassins Pistol.

It's for a bad breath distances shoot the eye, ear canal, temple and neck up under the chin. Or solar plexus, groin or taint.

Might be debatable if a 3"-5" blade is more useful.
Or one of the Folt's Mini knives or the SPEW that CRKT makes. Or some combination of them.

It has it's place even if it's a very miniscule one.

Melvin always struck me as one who'd show up at a large golf course to play with only a putter in hand.

I posted previously about my unscientific tests of a M21 and a comparable PT22. Cute little guns, but as a serious self defense gun? No. There are .380's that are the same size.
