So I went to the range tonight-nothing special there.I brought a trio of 44s.Two Smiths & an unfired Ruger Bisley.I have read for years about how well the Bisley grip frame deals w/recoil.I'm sure you have to.Ho-boy was I suprised at how well though.I put 30rnds thru each Smith & then grabbed the Ruger. It was night & day as far as recoil level goes.I figure that the same gun in .357 would be like shooting a .22.
My dunce moment came after I realized that I wasn't going nuts & that the sights on a new gun are not neccesarily dead on. LOL!I kept moving the target up 25-25-15-[finally] 7 yards.Once I adjusted the sights a tad I was off to the races. It was kinda funny in hindsight though.
Now I just need to visit w/Mr.Excedrin.100 rnds .44 mag in 25 minutes=jeffs head hurts.
