the frontal area of .30 carbine, and LOTS blunter. so it WILL transmit FAR more % of its 800 ft lbs than the .30C ball rd does with ITS 800 ft lbs (say, 25m hit with 30 C, COMMON in military combat). :) It's STILL a .45 caliber hole in you, and it's still a LOT of energy, and it's STILL the rifle sp temporay cavity effect of a 2300 fps hit.

so your ONLY REALISTIC complaint is that such ammo isn't "commercially available'. Well, a $500 ammomaker'slicense will take care of that. Corbon started as a one man 'company". :)
