you'd have shot a lot of critters with ccw load, like I have. you have nothing but bs stories upon which to base your "big and heavy" bullet fantasy. you CANT adequately control such loads in a pocket gun and pocket guns have major tactical advantages. such loads wont pierce soft body armor, either and guns that fire such loads can't use the GI pistol rd.

None of you have a clue what real ccw speed IS, on a personal level. you just HOPE that your 2 seconds to react, ccw draw and hit will be fast enough. well, the range is going to be 10 ft and less, and you could take a step and dive on the guy in 3/4 second. so what's the point of being so slow with your pistol?

People who won't REALLY work on ccw beltgun draw speed had BETTER favor the front pants pocket rig (and keep their hand in that pocket on the gun, or they'd better have black belt levels of hand to hand ability (and carry a cane/stick everywhere

with stick in hand, I can twist off the solid aluminum "head" and throw it HARD to hit a torso at 10 ft in 3/4 second and in another 1/2 second, be chopping on his legs with the stick. Nobody but YOu knows if your knee hurts you and you can always bruise hurt it on the way to the dr's eval (if ordered by a court). So, basically, you can carry a 3 sided, hollow metal "stick" anywhere. and if you are agile, it's actually better than a gun, if you start stick in hand, compared to a typical cop's "speed" of ccw draw and hit. without having to worry about lethal force laws and innocents behind the bad guy, your actual response with the stick can be a LOT faster than your response with a belt gun.

the stick is silent and it MARKS the miscreant for the cops. if you so choose, it can render him UNABLE to ever attack anyone again. sort of hard to do so from a wheelchair!
