I can already react, start hand in pocket, draw and hit chest at 10 ft in .75 second, quite reliably, going to weaver. Get that down to .50 second, with .20 second of that being reaction time, I could, if I started first, beat the drop of another man's gun, even WITOUT having to sidestep as I drew. Since sidestepping adds a lot to the difficulty of getting reliable chest hits, at 10 ft or so, I could get more hits, faster, with less practice, , less risk of a screwup. that's the sort of stuff that matters, not bs groups at 20 m+
