what a hoot it is to play with, and how effective it is. Slip in the .22lr conversion unit, and use subsonic lr's, and it's as quiet as a bb gun. That's a big help when it comes to efficient foraging. If u miss a critter, it just sits there. You can take quite a few of of a group or a flock, without alarming the others. That saves lots of time wasted on stalking. 1-2 birds, chipmunks, frogs, mud turtles, etc, aint worth the risk and hassle of building a fire to cook them. 3-4 such critters ARE worth that risk. much of the time, you either eat them within a few hours, or the meat will spoil.
