why don't you learn how to FIX whatever's wrong with it, and go on to have the SUPERIOR abiility that it offers any real rifleman, hmm? The AK doesn't offer jack squat, even if it DOES work. It's still just a club, made by and for ignorant peasants, to spray and pray with.

AR's are more accurate than AK's for a reason, the AR-15 is a target rifle, and the AK is a battle rifle. The AR-15 is completely unsuited for battlfield conditions. Soldiers moan about the AR because it FAILS!! Get a little dust in the mechanism and it goes kaput, the AK can be completely rusted over and it'll still function properly. That, and 223 ammo fails to neutralize threats effectively, whereas, the 7.62 kalashnikov does that job spectacularly.

If you want an acurrate and reliable battle rifle get an M1-A or FAL.

Whatever you do don't mess with a micky mouse quality shorty AR and rely on special loads to make it effective.

The whole issue really is, for GunKid, is that unless you favor his butchered shorty AR with wonder rounds (hot handloads) then you're somehow anti-AR in general.

The AR is a good platform. It is a tool.

The M1 is a good platform.

The FAL is a good platform.

The best hammer in the world does not make you the best carpenter.

But the best carpenter in the world can be very effective with the worst hammer.

Choose your tools according to YOUR needs. Every one has a different set of needs according to their AO.

GK, if you had a clue, yo might be worth listening to.

The AR 15 was designed to fight off hordes of assaulting gophers, aggressive bowling pins, paper targets that don't shoot back. Battle Rifles that have been proven to work reliably in combat are the FN FAL, M14 & the M1 Garand. Not everyone lives in an urban enviornment, thats a fact.

Not to mention the FAL carbine models (not to mention AKs) are just fine for urban combat. Just because you're in a city doesn't dictate the use of a .22.

LOL... I'm like Aslan. I own a butt load of AR's and a couple 16's. They are great guns BUT, they are not the ultimate rifle that Tard claims they are...

I own HK's, FN's, M1's, carbines and smgs, and all have their place in the scheme of things. There is no one wonder weapon out there. There never will be. God help Tard if he runs into a situation where there is no .223 or .22 lr laying around for him to get his hands on.
