converts you from being a subject to a "citizen". That's in direct opposition to what he says about a pistol. " You are no more armed, just because you are carrying a pistol, than you are a musician because you own a guitar".

To paraphrase your remarks:

You are no more a shottist because you read old gun magazines than you are a musician because you blow your own horn."

the canned CAR is at LEAST 10x more of

a fighting or survivalist gun than is the Scout, at half the price of the Scout, at about 10% the ammo cost of practice with the Scout, via the .22lr conversion unit. Jeff, however, has thousands of morons who "think' that everything Jeff says, especially about guns, is direct from the "gods" of shooting. :)

The 11.5" (oh, I forgot, you've changed to 10" now) CAR, is a POS. It's good for shooting across the room and that's about it. The .22lr unit is worthless for training beyond 50-75 yards, because the ballistics of it and the .223 are radically different, even from the glorified pistol. So you get NO training other than trigger control with the "unit" vis-a-vis the .223 unless you plan to use your rifle at pistol ranges, and you're the only one dumb enough to advocate that.
