The Kirst Cartridge Konverter® for the 1851 and 1861 Colt Navy revolvers is now manufactured with a colorcase hardened Konverter Ring and gate.

A very functional, spring-loaded ejector assembly is also available to further customize your revolver.

Simple, step-by-step instructions and a loading port template are included with each Kirst Cartridge Konverter® for the 1851 & 1861 Colt Navy revolvers.

Have any of you guys attempted this kind of conversion ?
I would like to try this on my Repro 1861 Navy.

Looks neat. I believe they make one for the Ruger Old Army too. Think you would want to shoot very mild loads though.
